BACON AUDIO CONFIGURATION TUTORIAL

This tutorial is intended to help guide you through the BACON audio configuration process.
Don't have BACON? Download & Install BACON Now!

Step One

If BACON is not loaded, Click Start > Programs > Gunfleet Logistics > BACON
If BACON is already loaded, proceed to the next step.



Step Two

Double-click the "B" Bacon icon in your Window's task bar.



Step Three

Click the "Alert Configurations" tab at the top of the program to set up your sound notifications.



Click the "Create" button to create a new notification profile. I named mine "PVP".



Set your sound notifications to your liking for each type of pilot you will see in system.

• Do Not Combine Announces - Sounds the alert tone for EACH instance of known pilot. Leave this unchecked if you wish to be notified only once, even if a fleet of 20 enters.

• Announce Alliance - If checked, sends a synthetic voice alert naming the alliance of the pilot that enters system. Leave this unchecked if you do not wish to use the synth voice feature.

• Announce Chracter - Same as Accounce Alliance, announces the character name of the pilot that enters system. Leave this unchecked if you do not wish to use the synth voice feature.

• Silence in High Sec - Silences all notifications when in high security space of .5 or higher. We suggest leaving all of these boxes checked EXCEPT for "War Targets" and "Unknowns".

If you wish to change the sound that plays for each pilot type, click the "..." button to the right of the Audio File text box. This will bring up a selection of sound provided with BACON, or you can use your own sounds!

Click the "Test" button to hear the sound you selected.

SET NOTIFICATIONS FOR ALL PILOT TYPES DOWN THE ENTIRE LIST



Click "OK" when finished.

The audio alert component of BACON is now configured. Load EVE Online as you normally would and start HEARING the difference.

Be sure to load BACON BEFORE you load the EVE client.
