BACON CONFIGURATION TUTORIAL

This tutorial is intended to help guide you through the BACON configuration process.
Don't have BACON? Download & Install BACON Now!

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS TO PROPERLY CONFIGURE THIS SOFTWARE. Not following these directions is the number one reason for BACON not working. Please follow them.

Step One

If BACON is not loaded, Click Start > Programs > Gunfleet Logistics > BACON
If BACON is already loaded, proceed to the next step.



Step Two

Double-click the "B" Bacon icon in your Window's task bar.



Step Three

Click the "..." button to the right of the Log Directory text box. Select the location where your EVE ROOT folder is located. (example: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE)



Step Four

Click the "..." button to the right of the Chracter text box.



Click the API link at the top right to access your limited user ID and Key. Input this information into the corresponding text boxes. Next click the "..." button to select the character you wish to use with BACON. Click OK.





Step Five

YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS STEP FOR BACON TO WORK PROPERLY.

Click the Log Server on your Windows taskbar.



Click Tools > Server Mode > Set "Max Line Count" to "2" > OK





If the log server isn't running (because it didn't auto-launch with BACON, or because you closed it), BACON will not work. If you launch the log server AFTER Eve, BACON will not work.
BACON is now configured. Load EVE Online as you normally would and start HEARING the difference.

Be sure to load BACON BEFORE you load the EVE client.
