BACON DOWNLOAD
ClickOnce
The preferred way to get BACON is via Click Once. Basically, you install it once, and every time you launch BACON, it will check for an update. If there is one, it'll prompt you, then download and install it automatically.
No installer
If you'd prefer not to run BACON via Click Once or can't get it to work, you can download the zip file for the current version below and directly install it on your computer. There's no installer or anything -- just unzip and run. We'll also keep some older versions listed here incase you want them for some reason. Just remember, if you install this way, you won't be notified of updates or have the option to automatically update to it. We really recommend that you use the Click Once version above.
Source code
As BACON is licensed under the GPL, we provide the source code for the application. The builds linked below were built with Visual Studio 2008 and the source code is in C#.
Note: for security reasons, the key files used to build the publicly distributed version are not provided with the source code. You can build it with your own key and it'll work just fine, you just can't build a version that will auto-update from a version installed from this site.
Server-side code
Prior to 1.0.0.2, BACON optionally reported to a central server. Here's the source code for that central server:
