BACON STANDINGS CONFIGURATION

This tutorial is intended to help you configure BACON to recognize the friends and enemies you've acquired in Eve. Without configuring a standings source, everyone (except your alliance and corp-mates) will be detected as neutral.

There are two parts to configuring standings -- using the standings file someone else created, and creating a standings file. We'll cover using an existing standings file here. Creating a standings file is covered here.

Step One

If BACON is not loaded, Click Start > Programs > Gunfleet Logistics > BACON
If BACON is already loaded, proceed to the next step.

Step Two

Double-click the "B" Bacon icon in your Window's task bar.

Step Three

Click the "..." button to the right of the Standings Source text box.

Step Four

Make sure 'URL' is selected and enter the URL supplied to you by the person maintaining the standings list for your corp/alliance. Click the Test button to make sure the URL is valid. Note: if you were given a username and password for the standings file, enter that here too.

Click OK twice and now BACON should recognize your standings. BACON will automatically reload your standings every time it launches, or when you click the Refresh standings button in the settings screen.
